The replacement housing includes an uncut key blade and is designed to accept the compatible circuit board, transponder chip and other required components from your existing Kia key. Once your original electronics have been transferred, the supplied blade must be cut to match your vehicle.

3 Button Lock, Unlock & Boot Release Design

The replacement shell features three button positions for compatible lock, unlock and boot release functions.

Includes Uncut Replacement Key Blade

An uncut replacement key blade is supplied with the shell. The blade must be cut to match your existing Kia key before it can operate the vehicle’s ignition or door lock.

Transfer Your Existing Remote Electronics

This product is supplied without remote electronics. Your compatible circuit board, transponder chip, battery and other required internal components must be transferred from your existing key into the replacement housing.

No Electronic Programming Required

When your existing programmed electronics and transponder chip are transferred correctly, electronic reprogramming is generally not required as part of the shell replacement itself.
